Brake Hoses
Datsun 1200 uses two front brake hoses, one per side. And a single rear hose. These are flexible rubber hoses. Sometimes called "soft lines" to distinguish them from the "hard" metal brake lines.
Front Brake Hoses
Fitting
The front brake hoses have a slot in each end fitting. This slot takes a C-clip to secure the hose.
The big C-clip
One end is clipped to a bracket on the strut
The other end is clipped to a bracket on the inner fender

The rear hose (A) goes from the body to the Rear Axle.
On the axle, it screws into the Rear Splitter
