"Deluxe" was the trim package one step up from the Standard (base) trim. In Japan, all body styles were available in Deluxe trim. In the USA, the Datsun 1200 2-door sedan is often called the "Deluxe" due to its prominent Deluxe badges (USA Coupes have no trim badges).
