サニー1400クーペ。いうまでもなくサニー系列の最高峰だ。定評のあるカルーイエンジン、吹き上がりのホットさ、スムーズさは、キミだってご存知だネ。排気量にまさる他車をメタメタにやっつけてしまった。サイドについてるマスコット、例のサニー坊やがニッコリ笑った。だがドライバーの目はキビシイ。S字カープで超高速コーナーリング、これが20日も連続する。グリッドにならんだ時、勝利の予感がした今日でした。久保田選手もニッコリ!

Sunny 1400 Coupe. Needless to say, this is the best of the Sunny series. You know the renowned Karui engine, how hot it revs up, and how smooth it is. It easily beat other cars with a larger displacement. The mascot on the side, the famous Sunny Boy, was smiling. But the driver's eyes were sharp. Super high-speed cornering in an S-curve, this was the 20th day in a row. When we lined up on the grid today, we had a premonition of victory. Kubota was smiling too!
